We have officially been home owners for one year now. A dream that honestly has felt like it took a lifetime given the cost of living in California. My husband and I have VERY different tastes when it comes to our home. I am a huge fan of vibrant colors. If I could decorate the home how I wanted, it would be a plethora of rainbow wall art and decorative furniture. Picture a teal couch, with a yellow rug, vibrant floral patterned pillows, and an abundance of color art adorned on the wall. My husband however is the polar opposite. His idea of a perfect living room would be a brown couch, with a simple rug and a world map behind the couch. POLAR OPPOSITES.
So together, we compromise (because that’s what marriage is really about, isn’t it?).
